A record for the reasons.
Codebases accumulate decisions. The explanation for those decisions often ends up scattered across chat sessions, pull requests, and people’s memories. Evograph gives that explanation a home beside the code.
Built for the next session.
The first product is a local, open-source CLI. It connects problems, decisions, notes, and changes in a repository-owned graph. Developers can inspect it directly, and coding agents can use its context to understand earlier choices.
The goal is practical: make it easier to recover a decision’s rationale before changing the code it shaped.
Independent and early.
Evograph is built by Muhammad Atif, a developer publishing as acefolioDev. It is an independent project in active development. The CLI is published on npm under the ISC license.
